The Canadian Family-Owned Company Garaga Acquires American Business Mid-America Door.
Garaga is a 35-year-old family-owned business based in Saint-Georges, which is accelerating its expansion by acquiring the US business Mid-America Door in Oklahoma. Since its foundation, the SME has been manufacturing and distributing garage doors for residential and commercial markets and has become the largest manufacturer of insulated doors in Canada. With this acquisition, Garaga will now have 3 factories, including one in the United States and more than 345 employees including a hundred Americans. The products of both companies will be available in more than 40 US states which should allow Garaga’s US sales to climb to 40% of its total sales compared to today’s 25%.
