LOGISTEC, a family business specializing in the marine and rail industry, has just formed a partnership with Tree Canada!

LOGISTEC is a family business that specializes in the handling of goods. It provides marine and rail transportation services in Eastern Canada and the United States. Founded in 1952 by Roger Paquin, the company now operates in 61 terminals and 38 ports in North America. The innovative company was one of the first to provide a winter shipping service on the St. Lawrence River. 34 years ago, LOGISTEC set up Sanexen, an environmental services team. Combining sustainability and creativity, two of its core values, it offers innovative solutions for the restoration of contaminated sites and the rehabilitation of drinking water pipes. For this company with an interest in ecology, it is only natural to partner with Tree Canada. This association led to the creation of a tree-planting project. During its inauguration on May 28 in Contrecoeur, 58 trees have already been planted. Madeleine Péloquin, daughter of the founder, president and CEO of LOGISTEC and recently inducted into the Cercle des Grands entrepreneurs du Québec, was present for the event.
