Canada’s largest theme park, the family business Groupe Calypso Valcartier, is investing $10 million in new water slides!

Groupe Calypso Valcartier is a 3rd generation family business founded in 1963 by Adrien Drouin. In 1971, his son, Guy Drouin, took over the small winter sledding center. Quickly, he makes it to the center we know today by revolutionizing snow sliding and setting up summer activities from 1980 onwards. By constantly developing his center, he makes it to the largest holiday destination in Eastern Canada. In 2009, the Drouin family expanded its market by opening the $ 50-million Calypso water park, the largest water park in Canada with more than 35 water slides, 100 water games and the largest wave pool in the country. By applying this growth logic, the three sons of Guy Drouin, Mathieu, Simon and Jérôme, announced a $ 10 million investment for the construction of a brand-new water sliding facility called ELDORADO at Village Vacances Valcartier.
