Six Québec companies were honored on May 26 during the ceremony of the 14th annual Business Transfer Awards. In the presence of Honorary President David Théorêt, President and CEO at Roxboro, they were honored in the category family transfer or entrepreneurial transfer. This contest, organized by PwC Canada, HEC Montréal and their partners, celebrates the success of private companies in Québec that have successfully completed their succession process, while ensuring their sustainability and growth.

Family Transfer
Gold: Groupe Robin
Founded in 1972 by Robert Robin and located in Saint-Hyacinthe, the family business Groupe Robin is a real estate developer, builder and manager throughout the province of Quebec. Recognized for its large-scale residential, commercial, institutional and hotel projects, it is now presided over by a member of the second generation, Nellie Robin, president of Groupe Robin.
Siver: Odessa Canada
Odessa Canada is a Bromont-based importer and distributor of specialty tires. It was founded in 1984 by Roland Gagnon and his son-in-law Robert Perrault. Today, the family business is managed by two members of the third generation, Stéphanie Perreault and her brother Jean-Philippe, both co-presidents.
Bronze: Ratelle
Ratelle is a family business founded in 1968 by brothers Luc and Gilles Ratelle. Offering services in civil, commercial, corporate, family and criminal law, as well as in human resources, Ratelle has two offices located in Joliette and Repentigny. A second generation is now at the head of the firm: brothers Nicolas Préville-Ratelle, president, and Emmanuel, director of practice.
