The online version of the renowned newspaper El País, the most consulted Spanish-language news site in the world, has just published an article on research carried out by Isabelle Le Breton-Miller, professor of management at HEC Montréal and holder of the Chair of Succession and Family Enterprise.

The article entitled: “Isabelle Le Breton-Miller: ‘La empresa familiar es un modelo en el que inspirarse’” (“Isabelle Le Breton-Miller: ‘The family business is a model to be inspired by’”) is based on the fruit of her research and collaborations to examine the model of family businesses and to emphasize, among other things, that they are more resilient because of their long-term vision, especially in times of crisis. At the same time, it also presents her best-known work, co-authored with Danny Miller, tenured researcher at HEC Montréal, and translated into six languages: Managing for the Long Run: Lessons in Competitive Advantage From Great Family Businesses.
