Louis Garneau, founder of Louis Garneau Sports, a family-owned company specialized in the manufacture and sale of cycling apparel and accessories, decided to create the safest bicycle helmet in the world. Following a recent bicycle accident, the former Olympian decided to use the skills of Québec scientists to develop a new generation of more efficient helmets. Innovation has always been a central value in the Garneau company mentality, but here it is, moreover, a question of appealing to Québec expertise for the creation of this new range of products.
