In a business school such as HEC Montréal, research and coaching in the field of entrepreneurship and business succession are unquestionably essential. What is the impact and role of research and knowledge transfer in these areas? This theme was explored on November 2 at HEC Montréal’s Midi de la recherche. Director of Research and knowledge transfer Caroline Aubé invited professors Luis Cisneros, Robert Dutton and Isabelle Le Breton-Miller to share their expertise and experience on the subject. Devoting a significant part of their careers to entrepreneurship and business succession, and putting these subjects at the heart of their research, coaching and transfer activities, the panelists discuss their mission and motivation, what they are proud of in terms of the impact of their research, and make recommendations to better support entrepreneurship and business transfer in Quebec.
