Brigitte Jalbert, CEO of the family-owned packaging distributor Carrousel Packaging has just published a biography!

Carrousel Packaging is Canada’s leading distributor of packaging products. Founded in 1971 in Boucherville by Denis Jalbert, the family business offered packaging products to butchers and bakers. During its 50-year history, Carrousel Packaging has experienced significant growth and today has sales of close to $204M. The company employs 400 people and has four branches located in Boucherville, Drummondville, Quebec City and Boisbriand. It now offers a diversified range of products, from food packaging to sanitary products and packaging equipment and machinery. In addition to this impressive growth, the family business stands out for its management practices that respect both people and the environment. In this regard, Carrousel Packaging launched the Engagement 500 Plus program in 2019, which promises to offer at least 2,500 new eco-friendly products by 2024. Since 2011, Brigitte Jalbert, the founder’s daughter, has served as CEO. Brigitte, who joined the company in 1986, is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Quebec Business Women’s Award and the RBC Canadian Woman Entrepreneur Awards. These awards recognize the exceptional career of the businesswoman who has brought the family business into the Platinum Club of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
